About meI'm Joanna

My life so far from a geographical perspective could be described as: 4 countries and 7 cities. After graduating from Psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, I moved to the UK, and then to the Netherlands to work in recruitment and employer branding projects.

I then returned to Poland and for the last 12 years Warsaw has been my home. However, I still love combining travel with work and in the last few years I have been part of many projects not only in Poland, but also in Europe and the USA.

“You can choose courage, or you can choose comfort. But you cannot have both.”

Brené Brown

My leading inspiration
is dr Brené Brown

with whom I’ve had the pleasure of learning first-hand how “vulnerability” is the source of everything everything we want but may not have the courage to go after.

I was the first person in Poland to start using The Daring Way™, Rising Strong™ and Dare to Lead™ curricula created by Dr. Brown in my psychological practice.

I am proud to say I am the only person from Europe to be part of the Dare to Lead™ Speaking Team, an incredible group of speakers who have been trained and certified in Brené’s work.

Over the years I have put a lot of energy and focus on improving and extending my toolbox. I kept on searching for inspiration and expanding my knowledge.

The tools, inspiration and knowledge does change but one thing stays the same: I pour my heart out into everything I do.

My inspirations.

Additionally, I use a variety of approaches drawn from such experts as Bill George and his idea of authentic leadership, Kristin Neff and Chris Germer’s research on self-compassion, Tara Brach’s radical acceptance, and the irreplaceable Jim Collins, who deals with business development.

I specialise
in courage.

Below you will find various ways we can do projects together. They differ in length, format, intensity but they do have one thing in common and that is: courage. Courage to create a better life.

I work with individual and business clients on inner leadership and related topics: authenticity, self-esteem and courage.

I facilitate workshops, talks and webinars. I speak at conferences, take part in panel discussions and give interviews. I also offer individual, group and team coaching sessions.

Apart from that, I have the honour of being a member of the Program Board of the “Coaching” magazine, where we jointly make sure that knowledge from the field of personal development is presented reliably. I’m also a member of the Expert Council of the Good Life Institute and “Wysokie Obcasy” magazine.

You can find interviews with me in, among others, Forbes, Forbes Women, Wysokie Obcasy, Harvard Business Review, Dzień Dobry TVN, Radio TOK FM and Vogue Polska.

And, to sum it up, I’m just a normal, cool girl who loves Scandinavia, cheesecake, coffee and dogs.

And I am going to tell you a little secret. Recently I have deeply fallen in love for the third time in my life, and I believe that all that had happened before was simply preparing me for this beautiful relationship I am in right now.
